Dollywood, a popular theme park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, has been recognized as the number one theme park in the U.S. by Tripadvisor officials for its 2025 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards. This marks the third time in the last four years that the park has won this award. Other top 10 attractions include Magic Kingdom Park in Bay Lake, Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Fun Spot America in Kissimmee, LEGOLAND California in Carlsbad, Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Silver Dollar City in Branson, and Whale’s Tale Waterpark in Lincoln, N.H.
Dollywood is co-owned by Dolly Parton’s entertainment company, Dolly Parton Productions, and Herschend Family Entertainment. Annual attendance at the park regularly exceeds two million visitors, with an annual direct economic impact of $1.8 billion. The park is the largest employer in Sevier County and plans for a new roller coaster project in 2026. The awards are based on traveler reviews and ratings during a 12-month period. Dollywood Parks & Resorts President Eugene Naughton stated that the award is humbling because it is derived from real reviews left by actual guests describing their time at the parks and resorts.
