The recall concerns 10-count packages of Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies produced by Give and Go Prepared Foods Corp of Etobicoke, Canada. The FDA categorized the recall as a Class II, stating that the use of the recalled product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences. The cookies were shipped to distribution centers in three states and sold at retail outlets in 20 states and DC. The recalled items can be identified by the UPC 85239-41250 and lot number 25195. Target representatives stated that customers with affected Favorite Day products may be able to return the items for a full refund.
