President Trump has ordered an increase in police presence, leading to a man, Sean Charles Dunn, being charged with a felony for throwing a Subway sandwich at a federal law enforcement official. Dunn, 37, allegedly shouted at U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents and hurled the sandwich at one, allegedly pointing at them and calling them “fascist.” Onlookers videoed the incident, and Dunn was caught throwing the food at officers. After attempting to run away, he was chased by police. Dunn was charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees. U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro stated that Dunn did not find the incident funny and that he was charged with a felony, assault on a police officer.
