Sean Charles Dunn, a 37-year-old man, was charged with a felony after allegedly throwing a Subway sandwich at a federal law enforcement official during an increase in police presence as ordered by President Trump. Dunn allegedly shouted at U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents and hurled the sandwich at one, pointing at them and calling them “fascist.” Onlookers videoed the incident, and Dunn was caught throwing the food at officers. After hurling the food, Dunn attempted to run away but was chased by police. He was charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees. U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro stated that Dunn did not find the incident funny and that he was charged with a felony, assault on a police officer.
