Remington hair dryers have been recalled due to a safety issue. Huong DN 590

Remington, a brand of hair dryers, has been recalled due to potential electrocution and shock hazards. The hair dryers, which were sold exclusively online at Walmart Marketplace, Target Marketplace, and Amazon, were found to lack an immersion protection device, posing a risk of electrocution if the dryer falls into water. Empower Brands, the importer of the hair dryers, has advised consumers to stop using them and unplug them completely. The recall was issued from March 2024 to June 2025, and consumers can contact Empower Brands for a full refund. The Remington product recalls page can be accessed by calling 1-844-695-2134 or emailing HairdryerRecall@Spectrumbrands.com.
