Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime associate of Jeffrey Epstein, has been met by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in Tallahassee, Florida. Maxwell was convicted of sex trafficking and sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022. During the meeting, Maxwell’s appellate lawyer, David O. Markus, said she answered all questions honestly. Blanche declined to say whether there would be a follow-up meeting but expressed gratitude for the meeting. The Justice Department announced that a meeting between Blanche and Maxwell would occur in the coming days. Blanche stated that if Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and DOJ will hear it. Maxwell’s attorney confirmed that they were in discussions with the government about the visit.
