Kristin Cabot, the woman seen in a viral video of a couple hiding after being featured on a giant “kiss cam” screen at a Coldplay concert, has resigned from her position at data company Astronomer. The New York-based company announced in a statement Thursday that Cabot and Astronomer CEO Andy Byron had resigned. The couple gained international fame last week after Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, called them out for hiding their faces on a kiss camera during a show in Massachusetts. Astronomer announced that its CEO had been placed on leave and was investigating the viral moment. Byron’s resignation followed the next day, and the company named co-founder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy as its interim CEO.
