Ukraine has reported that eight people were injured in a night attack by Russia in Kyiv.

A Russian air attack on Kyiv, Ukraine, has injured eight residents, including a three-year-old child, and caused damage to a town hosting a key air base. Ukrainian military administration head Tymur Tkachenko confirmed that four of the injured were admitted to the hospital, with one in serious condition. Russia launched 324 drones and seven missiles, with the main target being Starokostyantyniv in western Ukraine. The attack has occurred three and a half years after Russia invaded Ukraine, and both sides deny targeting civilians in the conflict. The full scale of the Russian attack on Ukraine is not yet known, and Polish aircraft scrambled to ensure national airspace safety.
