The IDF has been conducting operations in Jabalya, including the destruction and dismantling of a 2.7 km long tunnel under the WATCH program.

The IDF’s 401st Brigade has conducted a significant operation in Gaza, dismantling a network of tunnels under Jabalya. The 2.7 km network has been part of the IDF’s ground activities in the area, resulting in the dismantling of hundreds of terrorist infrastructure sites, confiscation of weapons, and the deaths of dozens of terrorists. The 401st Brigade’s recent operation in Jabalya saw three members killed in their tank, despite initial assessments of an anti-tank missile. The IDF renewed its operations in Jabalya for the third time since the start of the Israel-Hamas War in October 2023, resulting in the demolition of numerous rocket launchers and tunnels. Operations continue in Beit Hanun and Gaza City, destroying Hamas infrastructure and coordinating attacks with the Israel Air Force. The recent killing of Mohammed Nasser Ali Qanita, the terrorist who held Emily Damari hostage, was a significant milestone in the ongoing conflict.
