Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed his country’s commitment to preventing Russia from deceiving the United States, as a meeting between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin looms. Zelensky stated that his team is working closely with the United States to ensure peace and understand Russia’s intention to deceive America. Trump and his administration have pushed for an end to the war in Ukraine, but have not been successful. Zelensky announced that he will meet with Putin in Alaska next Friday for talks on ending the war in Ukraine. Zelensky emphasized that the sole root cause of the killings is Putin’s desire to wage war and manipulate everyone he comes into contact with. He emphasized that Ukrainians have endured over three years of full-scale war and will defend their state and independence, thanking everyone who is helping.
Zelensky has stated that the US will not allow Russia to deceive the country.
